Houston Locals Policy

Houston locals are welcome to stay with the following requirements:
• Bookings must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance
• Must book the whole room (6 beds)
• Minimum and maximum stay of 2 nights

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in time is 3:00 - 6:00 PM
• Check-out time is 11:00 AM
• Valid government-issued photo ID required at check-in
• Guests must be 18 years or older to check-in
• Early arrivals before the standard check‑in time are subject to a $15.00 fee
• Departures between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM incur a $10.00 late checkout fee, with further fees for later departures.

Reservations & Payment

• All reservations must be made through our official booking system
• Payment is collected only after the 3‑day cancellation window closes
• We only accept visa and master cards
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• All rates are quoted in USD

Cancellation Policy

• 24‑Hour Cancellation Rule: Reservations may be canceled within 24 hours of booking without penalty, provided the check‑in date is more than 24 hours from the time of purchase
• 3‑Day Cancellation Rule: Reservations canceled within three days of check‑in will be charged in full.
• 72‑Hour Modification Window: Reservations may be modified up to 72 hours prior to check‑in, subject to availability and rate adjustments. Contact customer service for assistance.
• Reservations made on the same date are final, non‑refundable, and not eligible for changes.
• No‑show reservations are non‑refundable. The bed will be resold beginning at 11:00 AM the following day
• Early departures are non-refundable
• Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days

Parking

• Free street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis
• Fenced parking available for $10 per night
• MyCrib Hostel is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of vehicles or belongings
• Parking spaces are subject to availability

House Rules

• Respect Staff: Kindly show respect to our staff members.
• Quiet Hours:
  • Common Areas: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Dorms: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Belongings: Keep your belongings tidy.
• Lights Off: Please turn off lights between midnight and 9:00 AM.
• Considerate Check-Out: Check out early without disturbing other guests.
• Valuables: Do not leave your valuables unattended.
• Zero Tolerance for Theft: Stealing is strictly prohibited.
• Personal Boundaries: Respect personal boundaries.
• Clean Up: Clean up after yourself.
• Moderate Shower Duration: Avoid excessively long showers.
• Appropriate Attire: Clothing is required in all common areas.
• No Visitors: Visitors are not allowed.
• Recording Prohibited: Recording of any kind is not permitted due to state laws.
• No Food or Beverages in Dorms: Consuming food and beverages inside the dorms is not allowed.
• No Personal Bedding: Please refrain from using personal sleeping bags, blankets, or pillows.

Alcohol and Drugs

• The possession and/or consumption of alcohol, narcotics, and any psychotropic substances or drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises and in the surrounding areas. Violators will be required to leave immediately, with no refunds on their accommodation. Depending on the severity of the situation, law enforcement may be notified.

Smoking

• No smoking inside the hostel premises. Violators will be subject to a fine of $200 and will be required to leave immediately, with no refunds to their accommodation.

Weapons

• Weapons of any kind, including guns, arms, knives, are strictly prohibited on these premises. Violators will be required to leave immediately, with no refunds for their accommodation. Depending on the severity of the situation, they may also be subject to arrest for trespass under applicable law.

Liability

• MyCrib Hostel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property
• Use of personal lockers is strongly recommended
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hostel property
• The hostel reserves the right to charge for damages

Guest Services

• Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at any time.
• Identification Requirement: Guests must provide valid photo identification during check-in. Failure to do so may result in refusal of service.
• Behavior Expectations: Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Any rude, aggressive, or disorderly behavior that makes our staff or other guests feel uncomfortable or unsafe may lead to refusal of service.
• Immediate Departure: If necessary, guests may be asked to leave without receiving a refund. Additionally, charges for potential damages may apply.
• Emergency Situations: In extreme cases, we may involve law enforcement.

Internet Usage

• Free WIFI is provided for guest convenience
• The hostel is not responsible for internet connectivity issues
• Illegal downloading or streaming is prohibited
• Excessive bandwidth usage may be restricted

Pets

• Pets are generally not permitted
• Service animals are welcome with proper documentation. Please be aware that emotional support animals are not covered by this exception
• Please contact us to discuss specific pet requests

Emergency & Safety

• Familiarize yourself with emergency exits
• Fire safety equipment is located throughout the property
• Report any safety concerns immediately to staff
• Follow all posted safety instructions

Privacy Policy

• We collect personal information for reservation purposes only
• Your information will not be shared with third parties
• We maintain strict confidentiality of guest information
• Security cameras are in use in common areas for safety

Release of Liability Agreement

• Consideration: Being in lawful age and in consideration of signing the registration form, the Guest releases and forever discharges MyCrib Hostel, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, members, managers, successors, and assigns (collectively, 'releasees') from all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims and demands for or by reason of any injury to person or property. This includes injury resulting in death, which has been or may be sustained as a consequence of the guest accommodation, and not withstanding that such damage, loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of MyCrib Hostel LLC.
• Concurrent Release: The Guest acknowledges that this Agreement is given with the express intention of effecting the extinguishment of all obligations owed to the Guest and with the intention of binding the Guest's spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representative and assigns.
• Full and Final Settlement: The Guest hereby acknowledges and agrees that the Guest has carefully read this Agreement, and the Guest fully understands the same, and that the Guest is freely and voluntarily executing the same.
• The Guest has given opportunity and has been encouraged to seek independent legal advice prior to signing this agreement.
• This agreement contains the entire agreement between the Guest and MyCrib Hostel LLC and terms of this agreement are contractual and not a mere recital.
• The Guest understands that by signing this Agreement, the Guest agrees to be forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against MyCrib Hostel LLC for any property loss or personal injury that the Guest may sustain while staying at MyCrib Hostel.
• Governing Law: This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
• By signing a registration form, the Guest, on behalf of itself and its heirs, successors and assigns, hereby expressly executes this Agreement.
